We are delighted to share the beautiful wedding of Harriet, a Lyn Ashworth bride who married Alex at the breathtaking Middleton Lodge in Yorkshire. Harriet chose a bespoke Lyn Ashworth wedding dress, created through a close collaboration with our Creative Director, Sarah. Together, they shaped a gown that reflected Harriet’s personal style and vision.

Choosing a Bespoke Wedding Dress
After trying on several dresses, Harriet realised the bespoke route suited her best. She loved many gowns in the showroom; however, going bespoke gave her the freedom to explore new ideas. As a result, she created a unique look designed specifically for her wedding day.
In addition, the bespoke process allowed her to take her time, understand what she truly wanted, and build a gown that felt personal from the very beginning.
Designing a Versatile Bridal Look
One of the most thoughtful parts of Harriet’s bridal journey was the focus on versatility. Sarah guided her through adaptable design elements, and together they planned a gown that could transform throughout the day. Therefore, Harriet enjoyed multiple looks in one timeless dress, moving easily from the ceremony to the reception.

From her first visit to our Staffordshire atelier, Harriet felt excited about the creative process. She worked closely with Sarah, and this active involvement brought her vision to life. Each detail, whether large or small, added meaning to her bespoke bridal look.
Meanwhile, the atmosphere in the atelier helped Harriet feel comfortable and confident in her choices, which made the experience even more special.

On her wedding day, Harriet looked effortlessly elegant in her custom-made gown. She carried a bouquet of classic white hydrangeas by Wild Floral Couture, which completed her romantic bridal style. In addition, the versatility of her gown allowed her to enjoy every part of the day with ease and confidence.
